Hi.
I thought I would introduce myself and share with you some factors of my life that will project in future posts. Here we go:
My name is Heather. I'm 20 years old and I have no idea what I am doing with my life. Although I live with this fact every day, I couldn't be happier. Maybe this is a contributing factor to my happiness. Who knows? Anyway, this is my first post ever on this blog. I've had livejournal accounts before, but I feel that I have grown out of that and hopefully into this is blog thing.
I am a student at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fl. I am currently an English Lit major. I am not sure what I would like to do with the degree. I would like to continue to go to school and get a PhD and become a professor, but I would also like to bring children into this world and I am not sure I could do that with that kind of salary. I may go on to Law School. I'm not sure. As for now, I am doing pretty well in school. I keep my grades high so I will have those options when I graduate. I still have about two more years left of undergrad.
On another note, I have a boyfriend who treats me like a princess. His name is Jack and I am so glad we found each other. We have been together for 6 months today and he gives me a reason to wake up in the morning. He bought me a beautiful necklace for Christmas that I couldn't love more. For those who may stumble across my blog, they will probably hear a lot about Jack.
Another aspect of my life that I would like to share is my living situation. I live in a house not too far from campus with four other girls. Four of us have boyfriends. There are two bathrooms and one refrigerator. You do the math. I will refer to my roommates as A,B,C, and D. C's boyfriend pretty much lives at our house. Which, in turn, causes most of us feel weird about being at home. It sucks. He should pay us rent. This issue gets me pretty heated, so this is all I would like to share for now.
Finally, I will probably write about my self-improvement. There are a lot of aspects of my life I would like to improve. The most common one would be the issue of my weight. Over the past two years in college, I have put on some pounds. I came into college weighing about 130 give or take 5 pounds. I am not sure what my exact weight is as of right now, but I know I have put on more weight. I would like to get into better shape, eat better and less, and just be healthy again. I get winded climbing stairs. I bought new running shoes yesterday and I look forward to using them. Most people don't want to hear about this stuff, so I won't make it a vocal point, but I will do it as a personal log for my own reference.
All in all, I am pretty excited about having my own blog. My own place to share how I feel that may or may not get a response.
